  • So Maybe Not

Ok, so maybe  I am not really bringin Xanga back, that is just the comment that was an automatic entry when I clicked on thier link to log back in. So sorry if you thought I might be leading some sort of Xanga revolution or some Xanga corporate takeover.

Wow the fact that it has been like two years since I wrote anything on here is pretty crazy, so much change, so much never changes.

    a new post....and six flags

So wow, its been a long time since I have sat down and put any thoughts into a blog...well so here is a new one...

The month of May was one chaotic month for myself and my bride Callie, first I got sick, I never get sick, and I am not talking sniffly nose, ugh I am sick, I am talking, go to the walk in clinic and get prescription drugs sick, previously it had been 10 years since I had seen a doctor, but I was about one day from ending up in the emergency room with an internal bacteria infection...but I got a shot and some drugs and all was good....

then we finished the semester out with final exams at seminary, and then the following saturday we got married, went on a mini honeymoon to Arlington, including the Fort Worth Zoo, which is kind of cool, but the buffaloes were missing which was kind of sad...and then we went to Lake City, CO for a week, and we had to wear long sleeves and turn on the heater because its cold there in May....

Then at the end of May we packed up all of our stuff and moved to Robert Lee, into a house that the owner is renting to us, but at the same time trying to sell it, which is a wierd feeling when you are sitting in your living room and people are looking at the house, wanting to buy it,which would basically make you homeless....

So yeah that was May, just a tip for anyone who was considering it, don't finish a semester, get married, get a new job, and move to a totally new town...all in one month, unless you really want to...then yeah go ahead and do it

    Fiesta Texas

So I went to Fiesta Texas this past Monday..... first on a side note I don't do theme parks, roller coaster add no value whatsoever to my enjoyment of life.....but other people love em, so I took my book and read while others waited in line thirty minutes to go on a ride which is 60 secs long...

The only ride that is truly worth riding is the train the goes around the whole theme park....I could ride that thing all day long...all day long....

Fiesta Texas also has a water park and they have a thing called a lazy river and that was awesome a tube floating nothing could be better, but some kids didn't get it, its a lazy river, meaning don't work...but here they were dodging, diving, swimming to get ahead...and i thought the lifegaurds should be blowing thier whistle, "5 minute time out until you learn to be lazy" yeah six flags can take that one to the bank...

Another thing six flags could take to the bank is Nap Land:An adventure of mattress quality.....yep, just a big room with places to take naps......I would pay twice the entry fee for that....

anyways........six flags call me if you want to know more

  • So yeah its a New Year....wooo ....2006....I started back to school today...I can't believe it but I actually missed going to class and learning..I know I am a masochist...I went to Subway with my beautiful bride to be for lunch today...cause its the new year and everyone should eat healthier...the only problem was that I smelt like subway the rest of the day, I think because they were cooking this cheesy type of bread that left an allsupslike smell permeated in my clothes..it was quite disconcerting...I think I am going to start a campaign to get the late night talk shoes bumped up ahead of leno and letterman, I think Conan is funny, but I really like Craig Ferguson, and suprisingly Jimmy Kimmel, the only problem is you can't watch them all cause they come on at the same time..I say lets make them primetime and at diffrent times..it would be better than some of the trash that the tv has on it now...btw I wathced the new controversial series Book Of Daniel the other night and was really disappointed...I was hoping it might be funny but it wasn't..at all...it did portray Jesus interestingly...at one point right on, and at another way off and unrealistic....so I say move up conan, craig, and jimmy.....join the revolution....viva la Craig...

  • Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays...and Merry New Year

Ok now an update...hopefully I will write more often this next year...I could make it a resolution....I got my grades for my first semester 4 A's and 1 B...so yeah....also I got lost driving aroud Dallas....here's a piece of advice...residential streets do not go straight in any direction..don't expect them to...I drove around for an hour only to have a made a huge circle right back to where I started my detour because traffic was so bad...and on this journey I stopped at a gas station called Auto City or something like that and beside it in small letters was written Tacos on one side, and Beer on the other...and outside there were these people who had set up a sound system and were dancing and playing really rather vulgar music...so I decided not to show them up by busting my moves...so yeah...I am experienced at being lost...so I don't ever panic and I usually end up being all right...ok hope you guys have a good christmas..my favorite part this year is that I didn't have to dress up to be Santa........woo
